Jeremy & Lauren Sanchez

After years of building careers, Jeremy and Lauren traded predictable paychecks for a life of dependence on God’s provision. They now serve in camp ministry in the mountains, helping steward spaces where people encounter Jesus, experience biblical community, and discover their own calling.

Jeremy is just a simple guy. Writing a "bio" is definitely not his thing. Put him outside, give him something to cook and surround him with good people and he's right at home. If people are gathered, chances are he'll be one of the last to leave because he never tires of a good conversation.

Jeremy enjoys people-watching and has loved the game of soccer his entire life - whether he's playing, coaching, refereeing, or cheering on his kids from the sideline.

Jeremy is a hard worker who rarely sits still. Over the years, Jeremy's career has spanned multiple industries, eventually leading to leadership roles as a District Manager in the food service industry and a General Manager in the pest control industry. He's far more comfortable serving behind the scenes than standing in the spotlight, but he'll gladly do either if it means pointing people to Jesus. If you ask him, he'd say some of life's most meaningful moments happen around the dinner table or a campfire. He genuinely cares for and values those God has placed in his life.

More than anything, Jeremy desires to love and lead his family well and help others know Jesus.

A North Carolina native, Lauren loves fried okra, but hates sweet tea! She is an old soul and a homemaker at heart who loves to marvel at God's creation.

Lauren loves to worship through song and treasures any opportunity to lift her voice in praise to the Lord.

Her friends are more like family. From running a Spartan race in France to starting a cut flower garden, she's proof that good friends can talk you into just about anything, including this conference!

She continues to discover that God's plans are always better than her own and delights in being part of stories only He could write.

Lauren spent 18 years as a CT technologist in the field of Radiology. She is thankful for the opportunity she had to serve and care for countless patients during some of their most vulnerable moments.

She is now beginning the joyful journey of stay-at-home motherhood and homeschooling as she and Jeremy continue to cultivate a home rooted in God's Word, discipleship, and hospitality.

Lauren and Jeremy met at church as teenagers and their marriage and three children are beautiful testimonies of God's steadfast faithfulness! They recently answered God's call into a new season of ministry. In June 2026, they stepped away from all things familiar and comfortable, packed up their home, and moved to the Great Smoky Mountains of Bryson City, North Carolina, to serve at Icthus Ministries.

Together with their children, they are embracing this adventure of faith as a family and learning firsthand what it means to follow God one faithful step at a time. Their heart is simple: to say "yes" to wherever God leads and encourage families to trust God and follow Him wholeheartedly.
